Tai Chi Introductory Courses

We will be holding 4-week Tai Chi introductory courses , starting on the following dates-

Thursday 17th of May, at 7.00pm.

Tuesday 22nd of May, at 7.30pm.

Both courses will be held at the Natural Healing Centre and will cost just 45 euro.

Each class will be an hour long and as well as Tai Chi form, or movement, there will be,

standing Chi Kung and meridian stretching exercises

and each class will end with a period of deep relaxation.

All of these seminars run from 9.30 am. until about 3.30 pm. They are very reasonably priced at seventy-five euros and they will all take place at the Natural Healing Centre, here in MacCurtain street.

Sunday, April 22nd – "The overworked arm"

This seminar will help therapists restore flexibility and strength to their arms and hands and to prevent the development of repetitive strain injuries. Pain, stiffness and numbness through the elbow, forearm, wrist and hand are all dealt with in this seminar. Techniques to improve strength, flexibility and the flow of Chi, are all included.

Sunday, May 5th – "Moving Releases"

There is a marked and immediate improvement in muscle tone and flexibility when the body area being treated is in motion. This is the basis for the work in the moving releases seminar. Learn to quickly reduce pain levels and improve mobility in, the neck, the shoulder, the arm, the back, the pelvis and the leg.

Sunday, July 1st – "Neck Releases"

This seminar will take you through a combination of trigger-point and gentle joint release techniques – a formula that is effective in treating most neck problems. The seminar content is accompanied by comprehensive notes and illustrations and this combination of therapeutic approaches has proved to be very effective.

Sunday, September 2 nd – "Lower Back Releases"

Again, there will be a combined approach in this seminar, with muscle trigger releases paired with gentle joint releases on the lumbar vertebrae and the sacro-iliac joints.

Our main treatment focus at the Centre is on physical therapy and we incorporate a variety of bodywork approaches, including soft tissue and deep tissue techniques and gentle joint and muscle releases , to treat our clients.

The more common problems we treat would be bad backs and necks, together with a variety of sports injuries.

We also use reflexology fror stress-related problems, hormone imbalances, digestive problems, etc.

We are open for therapy at the following times and are happy to take telephone enquiries about what treatment approach would best suit your own health situation

Monday 9am to 6.30pm

Tuesday 9am to 9pm

Wednesday 9am to 4.30pm

Thursday 9am to 9pm

Friday 9am to 4.30pm

<Lunchtime appointments are available on Tuesday and Thursday.

Our treatment fee is 50 euro and each treatment swession averages 45 minutes in total.

Complementary Therapy, Massage and Reflexology – Ireland

We are the longest established training school in Munster. All of our training courses take place in the evenings or at weekends to facilitate our students’ busy lifestyles.

Our Complementary Therapy courses have been formulated by The Natural Healing Centre’s therapists; complementary health practitioners with over 60 years cumulative experience behind them. Our tutors are working professionals in complementary medicine and Complementary therapy, who bring a wealth of knowledge & experience to their training seminars.

The Natural Healing Centre is a member training school of the British Complementary Medicine Association and all of our courses adhere to its high standards. Our BCMA recognised qualification automatically entitles graduates to practice in Ireland and the UK; we have also had many graduates go on to work in a number of locations including Australia, the USA, and a variety of European countries.

Our next Therapeutic Massage course starts on Saturday 21st of April. Our next Reflexology Course starts on Monday 23rd of April.
